2011 Schedule May 14, 2011 - Lake Metigoshe accepts Wold Engineering plans for sewer extension to Birchwood Patio Home and Clubhouse project. December 14, 2010 – We were notified by the Township that an error was made in going through the rezoning process for the Patio Homes on the golf course. The Township map showed that the golf course was assigned RE-2 zoning from the start! This meant going through the zoning process most of the summer when we could have been building. Consequently building came to a halt November 17th because of the late start. Oh well, I am confident that somehow or another something good will prevail from this challenge. Birchwood Clubhouse Lodge & Patio Home Update:
March 25, 2011 – On November 9, 2010 we employed an appraiser to do the appraisal for the construction loan. The physical inspection was made on February 3rd. As of today we are still waiting for the actual finished appraisal. If anyone knows of an Appraiser that will do the job or at least return a phone call please let me know! (701-263-4186)
November 17, 2010 - After almost a month we decided to dig ourselves out this week and pour the footings. Hand shoveling most with the help of Greg on the Case backhoe. The heavy snow had broke all the screws in the forms and had to be reset. We finished pouring by 3:00 and covered with tarp and hay. It wasn't a nice day, in the teens, for concrete work! Thanks to Greg Engstrom, Troy Olson and Ryan Kersten for getting the job done and thanks to Mark from Strata for operating the concrete pump.
October 20, 2010 - Finished the basement excavation and started the form work for the basement footings. And then the snow and wind came.
October 5, 2010 - Finished the site prep and started excavation on the basement.
September 9, 2010 - Started the site prep on Birchwood Homes Lot 4.
August 9, 2010 - Roland Township Zoning Committee passed the zone change for Lots 2 through 13, to R-E2, of the Birchwood Homes Addition.
June 24, 2010 - Wold Engineering staked out the long awaited corners and roadway markers for Birchwood Homes Subdivision necessary for getting approval of the final plat for recording. Next is getting the survey for the extension of the sewer line from near the Pritchard Home.
April 10, 2010 - Received preliminary approval for annexation of the proposed Birchwood Clubhouse Lodge and 20 condos into the Lake Metigoshe Recreation Service District for sewer pending review of final engineer’s plans from Wold Engineering.
March 8, 2010 - Roland Township Board reviewed the Birchwood Clubhouse Lodge and Condo plans. Preliminary review was favorable and is waiting for sewer district approval and final plans from Wold Engineering for the final plat.

February 22, 2010 – Jacques Laliberté of Prescott finished the rendering of the Birchwood Clubhouse Lodge shown on the Home Page.
